  1. I think the West prioritizes the rest of occupied Ukraine higher than Crimea. I can totally see this war ending with Russia getting to keep Crimea and Ukraine getting NATO membership. However, much is still needing to be decided on the battlefield, and now that Russia has failed to push the front line by anything of value over the Winter, the question is if Ukraine is capable of pushing the frontline during the summer. We might end up with a stalemate and a slow attrition war that ends in some ceasefire, and a North/South Korea solution. Time will tell.

  2. Not sure starving out civilians in Crimea will go down very well in the West though.

  3.  @madeline6951  - that will be the peace deal then. Crimea will no longer be contested, but officially recognized as Russian by the West and Ukraine. All NATO countries will have to agree on accepting Ukraine as a new member.
