  1. A more common scenario is that unclear/open-for-interpretation observations can indicate that Ravens might have other colors than black. But we only have a theory for black Ravens, and any other color would not work with our understanding of Ravens. Scientist indicating that some measurements might support non-black Ravens, does not have any theories for how that can be either. So we keep our Black Raven theory - even if it is flawed - because it is the best (only) we have.
