@janami-dharmam - Scandinavia is Denmark, Sweden and Norway. The three countries have languages so similar they can speak and understand each other with a bit of effort. They also have a very interconnected history. Nordic is Scandinavia + Iceland and Finland - which languages are (especially Finish) totally foreign. They do have a quite a bit of interconnected history. (Iceland being the backup Norway took around the time of the Vikings. Finland and Sweden has a long history together too).
