The Chinese need to put a nice Chinese flag next to the bleached American one. Make it 6 inches taller, and take a lovely post card and send back. Title could be: "Slow and steady wins the race".

Its on my "bucket list" - hope to do it within the next decade. By that time it should be more common.

I look forward to the day we find a Dinosaur Car in orbit around the sun, stuck to the second stage of a Dino-rocket.

Reminds me too much of the game Hellion. Space docking and survival is hard.

I must say human organ creation in space sounds like the kind of high-value type of product that can make space exploitation possible. Nothing really gets done in this world unless there is loads of money to be made from it.

Well, some times the world doesn't move forward as fast or in the direction one would think. In the 1960s everyone would assume we would have flying cars or a mars-base by 2020 - but instead we have Facebook and Twitter.

The TCP protocol doesn't work well in space, so it will not be the 'normal' Internet that we are used to here. But having a laser-network of store and forward nodes is probably a good idea.
