  1. Yeah, I've been subscribed to him for a long time, and that's pretty much my take on it. He has more access than a random Russian Youtuber would have as he is an actual Russian professional reporter. On the other hand, he is not hiding that he is Russian. To what extent he is under government pay or if he just have to keep in line with them, is unclear. As long as you have that in mind, his channel is pretty good.

  3. Naah, don't buy it. Uneven burn inside the rocket fuel would not change the force of the expended gas this much. The direction is controlled by the exhaust nozzle not by the burn of chemicals. Much more likely (IMO) is that it was an anti-radar missile and then for some reason locked onto the radar of the SAM site itself. Guiding itself back to the SAM's radar. Its u-turn is way to controlled to be an accident.
