  1. Yeah, if there was one thing that I hope Americans take in, is that Europe is not a single entity. There are huge cultural, historical and political differences between the countries. So Vance's criticism might have hit countries like UK and Germany (and to some extent Sweden), countries like Finland does not have any of these issues. This is of course also why Europe has a problem with showing a united front, because unless some very big external threat looms, each country will have its own take on things.
