@MWaheduzzamanKhan1 - are you sure? Because I think LBs are the amount of grease equivalent in a stone with radius 78.32 inches lifted by a goat found on the flatbed of a F-150 pickup if the temperature is 65.23 F.

Put some wheels on it, so it can choose mode of operation. Drive, walk or fly.... And of course, they will work in swarms.

@MiuKujo - or the times you are executing wrong code and none of the debugging changes you do seem to have any effect.

Think how far the world would have been, if these were your average teen-age kids..

I'm in the MOND camp - but I don't mind them trying to find WIMPs. Time will tell, nature has the correct answer, we just need to ask the right questions.

Cannot blame him, that thingy looks dangerous.

Hehe, guessed he would be around 130, so I'm not too surprised. What an IQ test really measure? It measures your ability to answer IQ tests. And they are pretty much the same, and you can indeed train for them.

He is a gambler on his spare time....

Loads of people in India and China... If you want geniuses pr. capita, Jews rules supreme.

Tried H&S once, felt like my skalp was burning - quickly washed it out and never used it again. Not sure what sort of chemical mix is in it, but it was definitely not for me.

@PhysicsPolice - Astronomy is probably one of the fields of science with the most guesswork attached to it. Anything outside our solar system is guesswork, although most of it probably fairly well grounded - but it is still guesswork. A lot of what goes on inside our solar system is also guesswork. Just make sure you don't treat guesswork as facts, but as theories. This whole video is based on guesswork and assumptions. It might be right, but it might be very wrongly guessed.

I could have used something like this yesterday. Small steerable with a camera, would be great for inspecting things where you cannot reach. Needs to be smaller diameter though.

It is these seemingly simple formulas that produce extremely complex behavior. Something simple turns into something complex. We see the complex stuff in our daily lives, and over the centuries have uncovered a few of the underlying simple equations. I'm sure there are yet more to find out there.

That depends on their mass.

Big-Bang, Inflation, Dark Energy... 3 hypothesis that will get debunked in the next decades.

North Korea has a lot of cosmic rays in their voting machines...

I guess the main benefit is not needing any special tooling. One 3d printer to do it all.
1
@eliasveselsky790 - well, time is not necessarily money. Its not like rockets needs to be mass produced as cars. So what if they use 3 weeks to 3D print a tank vs. 3 days if using steel. They already have the printer, so the only real cost is the aluminium thread + power. As long as they can produce the tanks fast enough to handle their launch cadence it isn't really a problem.

So what's the theoretical maximum speed of this concept?
1
I guess nearly every new invention or discovery can be used for both good and evil.

The only place universe expansion makes sense is in the formulas of cosmology (a field in crisis).

Glad to hear he got the Nobel Price. Well deserved!

So... How does this related to stable electron shells in the atoms?

250.000 USD is a considerable sum in most parts of the world for a teen-ager.

So you can live in an radio-active, ozone filled environment to get lots of negative ions, or talk a walk at the beach. I think I'll take the walk then.

Do what has made America great, immigrate.

Cod is now on the Norwegian 200 bill (approx 25 USD).

Drugs?

I must say that there is more guesswork in Astronomy than in most other hard science fields, and a lot of assumptions too. Which means we probably have a lot of things guessed incorrectly, and that future generations will laugh at some of our bright theories and hypothesis.

@lanrebloom3809 - of course, my bad.
