This aged like wine. Good predictions so far, although Russian proficiency was a bit over-estimated. It will be interesting to see how things progress in the future.

@TheStanislavson - Landlocking Ukraine by taking Odessa and joining up Transnistria would be a big win for Russia. But I don't think Russia will be able to do that. Getting Mariupol seems more likely, even though the Ukrainian resistance there is really fierce.

@TheStanislavson - Well, I wouldn't worry too much. Its not like this attack came from blue skies. Russia and Ukraine has been in a proxy war for 8 years already. You will have ample time to see any attack build up. And while Russia might manage to claim some parts of eastern Ukraine, that's how far they will reach. Europe is a bridge too far.
