  3. Calling it a "war" in Russia can give you up to 15 years of prison. It is a "special operation". So you need to watch your language when in Russia.

  4. That's because the West doesn't associate those countries with themselves. Ukraine is considered civilized enough to matter, and is bordering EU countries. Middle Eastern countries does not really count, nor does African and quite a few others places. But the West didn't really pay that much attention to the war in the Donbas region. It wasn't a big thing. Russia attacking a Ukraine full on, is another thing entirely.

  5.  @bobpadok5331  - yeah, the free world fights against dictatorships when they act out of line. Like in Russia, Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya, etc.
