Norwegian here - there is another thing about Sweden and Swedish society. Swedes have extremely low amounts of nationalism. 200 years of peace, and no history of struggle or fighting oppression. Swedes used to take Sweden for granted. Combine it with a superiority feeling that they had created the best society for humanity, and that everyone would immediately see this as soon as they crossed the border to Sweden. Well, now they have a reality check on their hands. The old Sweden is gone, dead. A new one will rise from the ashes, it will be quite a lot different, but it will be stronger, harder and meaner.
