"Momentum" isn't moving the front line a kilometer in a month, while loosing 10 000 soldiers doing so.

These bot comments are so predictable. Copy / paste all over the place.

As a Norwegian, it is nice to have Finland on the same team. They are after all the "prepper" nation of the World. Unlike naive Norway.

Ask Putin.
2
Hehe, right... What about the rest of the huge front, why isn't that moving, if Ukraine is so open to attack?
2
I'm in no doubt Poland will overtake UK on a GDP/capita basis.
2
Yes, biggest and best North West Korea.
2
USA invoked article 5 after the 9/11 attacks, for the first time in NATO history. Afghanistan/Taliban failed to hand over Bin Laden, and they got invaded by NATO and overthrown shortly thereafter.
2
I hope Jens Stoltenberg says something amongst these lines at the NATO summit. "And a special thanks to Putin for making NATO even stronger"...

All the smart and intelligent Russians fled the country. Only the village idiots are left.

Its relative. Its not an even fight, yet.

Libya was UN mandated no-fly zone.

More than likely.

Well, the West hasn't been this united since the cold war - so Putin has done wonders in that regard.

@mosesturyahabwe6239 - Russia is fighting one of the poorest nations in Europe, Ukraine has gotten some financial and military support from different NATO countries, which is enough to break down the Russian advance a few kilometers from Russia's own border. Russia is not fighting 41 countries, if it was, the war or the world would be over in days.
1
Well, I'm sure Kazakhstan and Mongolia can identify as "Near North Atlantic" countries.

I agree, the Ukraine war started in 2014, and the build-up for that even earlier. Its not like this was out of the blue. The fact that Sweden and Finland joined NATO with a shrug from Russia in response, indicates to me no plans of attack on NATO countries. With Finland in NATO, St. Petersburg is now on the doorstep of NATO, and would certainly be targeted if a Russia attacks NATO. If I was in Moldova however, I'd be much more worried.

Yes, which make is strategically not important. There are thousands of towns in Ukraine.
1
@a.u.b1 - taking one town in 8 months, then at this pace in 2050 they have Donbass. For it to have strategic significance it needs to then cause the fall or greatly accelerate the fall of Donbass. In the meantime it must also mean that Ukraine must not be able to to take back all the other parts Russia has taken.
1
Ukraine is not part of NATO. However, individual NATO countries have helped Ukraine a ton and are still helping Ukraine fight this war.
1
No problem at all. But I'm pretty sure the reply was intended for a totally different post/text.
1
Well, Stalin did a great job too.
1
It is sad that it is needed unfortunately. But when crazy tzars go about invading countries, one have to be prepared.
1
No problem in North Korea and Iraq under Saddam. Any dictator worth his salt has those numbers.
