  2. Russia is an artillery army, NATO relies on the air-power to do the same. So no wonder Russia can outproduce NATO in this regard. Also the fact that these factories are not running on pure capitalistic principles might be something to learn from. Having spare production capacity is not how to maximize shareholder profit.

  5. That's a pretty ridiculous strategy, if I ever heard one. If nukes would be used, it would be against a minor Ukrainian target - forcing Ukrainian capitalization without necessarily getting NATO involved. Nuking NATO, which is having 6000 nukes available to respond with, is not a good idea. Just a tit-for-tat response of nuking say Kaliningrad by NATO would leave Russia in a very bad position.

  8. Yes, but remember that watching nukes being detonated was a thing in Las Vegas in the 50s and 60s - they blew up one every two weeks. Small ones doesn't end the world and are not really dangerous if far enough away.
