  3. Because Ukraine needs to get enough equipment and manpower into a small enough area where they can push through the weak-spots in Russian defenses. So what you will see now are more probing attacks, "more shaping of the battlefield" (this is why Ukraine got the Storm-shadow missiles). Of course the weather has to be good as well. When you see any large numbers of Western tanks in an attack, it for sure has begun.

  6.  @ConservativeJuggaloPodcast  - yes, weapons are expensive, and Ukraine is a poor country. So they try to get as much help as they can from other nations aka 'begging'. And for the free world, this is a no-brainer. Support own weapon industry, help a smaller democratic nation, grind Russia into the mud, get higher political ratings, improve military strategies - all at the cost a few percent of the military budgets. The West can keep this up for a very very long time.

  7. Well, Russia used 9 months to dismantle the city. Building by building. So the Bakhmut Russia now has, has very little to do with the Bakhmut Ukraine had before the Russians attacked.

  8. Very nice. Only thing I miss that I think could be useful would be "areas won (by both sides) over a week" (basically the same you had for a day - but for a week instead).

  10. NATO is way bigger than Russia in every way that matters. NATO isn't loosing any young men. And propping up Ukraine with weapons is something that can be done for years and years, as long as there is popular support in the different countries.

  13. Assume your military analysis is correct, then we should see much bigger and faster advances of the Russian army over the next few months. And if it is incorrect, we will not.
