  6. There is very easy answer here. Russia gets out of Ukraine. Russia has all the security it can ever need, namely thousands of nukes. That's all there is to it. The more Russia behave like a drunken bully, the larger and more powerful NATO grows. If Russia had behaved like Sweden instead, peaceful and neutral, NATO would have dissolved and Russians would have finally experienced real prosperity and happiness.

  7. Thank you for another great report. "Collaborators" are normally not treated nice by any country, so I can totally see why escaping to Russia is a good choice for a lot of Ukrainians. Nobody needed this senseless war, but here we are. Tens of thousands more will die.

  11. Yes, NATO "expansion" is a very real threat on their propaganda news. (Except for when Sweden and Finland joined, then it wasn't such a big deal afterwards. Even though with Finland onboard, they have massively extended their NATO border. )

  14.  @etow8034  - hehe, and North Korea has 100% approval rating. Turns out that if you control the opposition and the media, you can get great approval ratings. As soon as you pass 40% approval rating, you can start question how free things are in a country.

  15. ​ @СергейКарташков-э9ъ  - well, there isn't much to counter-sanction. Russia has already lost its main export customers in Europe. Russia's GDP is on the size of Italy, it is not very important on the world's economic arena. But I'm sure China is pleased to gobble up Russian resources.

  19. Thank you for your very nice report from Moscow. Of course, it is an easy fix to all this, Putin getting his Russian soldiers out of Ukraine. Now, those drones look pretty small and slow and didn't pack much as far as payload. So I wonder if they've flown all the way from Ukraine to Moscow, or if they are sent from somewhere in inside Russia towards Moscow. It is unlikely their targets were those residential buildings, but as you said - GPS was being jammed / messed with. And these drones doesn't look like something with advanced anti-jamming capabilities, so they pretty much just hit whatever high building was there. As for military value, probably small. Propaganda value, much higher. This is probably not going to be the last such attack, but it all depends on who is behind and what resources they have available to them.

  20. Why would you expect that a small village out in nowhere would feel the pain of war happening thousands of km away. Take it for what it is, a report from rural Russia. Guess when it turns out that the ones that were sent to war, never comes back, the mood will change a bit. Probably they will be just more angry at the west for helping Ukraine defend itself.

  22.  @nanicrash  - no, because you need a special mindset and culture for that approach to work. In the West there is an official story, and one sticks to that. There isn't 20 different semi official versions, and people pick the one that resonates with their beliefs. The shop-keeper here had taken the "America is pulling the strings behind the scenes" narrative to heart, guess that worked best for him.

  23.  @andreimoutchkine5163  - this is like hearing somebody from North Korea talking about freedom. Russia doesn't have press freedom or most other freedoms for that matter, like any good old authoritarian state. Abortion and gun rights are non-issues in most Western countries. US is not the only country in the west.

  25. It is interesting for people in the West to see how normal Russians are conditioned to think, or rather how to double-think and not-think. Seems like about 25% are sane, 25% are afraid, and 50% are more or lest mentally lost. Younger people tend to be more in the 'sane' group, and the elderly more in the 'mentally lost' group, but exceptions happen.

  27.  @66bigbuds  you must be high. NATO only has a token amount of NATO owned equipment. Most equipment belongs to each country. NATO just coordinates the resources. US is the biggest and most important NATO member, and I'm saying this living in a small NATO country that doesn't have media owned by the world bank.

  30. Thanks for answering one of the main questions I had, namely how your English got so good. Mine is not that good, I've got more of an accent, but I'm from Norway. Reason everyone is skeptical is of course because there is a lot of misinformation out there, and people with an agenda. If you manage to let the stories speak for themselves, your channel will indeed grow a lot. I clearly shows that this is something you have great skills in doing. Best of luck!

  32. Step 1: If your country prevents you from getting foreign news - get hold of foreign news. Step 2: Check UN voting on your countries action - if your country is supported by North Korea, you are on the wrong team. Based on Step 1 and Step 2 - fight or flight.

  36.  @Infirito_Ekra  - time did, 24 February 2022, after Russia had said they would not invade Ukraine for a long time. (Turns out western intelligence knows what's up). Russia lies so much it isn't fun, and now they keep on throwing tens of thousands of men into the grinder that is Bakhmut for 6 months. Such a sad thing that Russia had to turn out this way. Glad I'm not Russian, as Russian's should start learning Chinese now, because Europe will be closed for Russians for a long time.

  38.  @LukeKeeganN  - ahh the "defend the people of Donetsk" excuse. Good, we are working us through the bad excuses here. So, unless you have a very recent map bought in Russia. Donetsk is a Ukrainian area, and no country but Ukraine has jurisdiction over that area.

  39.  @alexokunnur8946  - yes, I've been watching Russian propaganda since the war started. It is a common trait in my culture to educate oneself on things. And it was way different than what was expected, and the mindset of a lot of Russians also very different than I though. But after a while one gets the gist of it. Strange that you haven't mentioned "fighting nazis" yet, another common excuse.

But there seems to be a high willingness to fight an aggressor at least. Ukraine seems to me to be a bit closer to Polish mentality than Russian.

  45.  @fattony-yi2pu  - this is Russian propaganda talking. Crimea is not recognized as anything but Ukrainian territory, snatched by Russia using military force. Nobody recognizes referendums done under military occupation and after deportation of the initial population. Russia has even held mock referendums in the eastern Ukrainian oblasts and annexed them into Russia, even without having military control over them. You cannot make that shit up. Why cannot Spain declare that Russian oblasts are Spanish now, and that Russia is attacking Spain? Same thing. There are ways to solve border-disputes peacefully and civilized - sending in Spetznaz and T-82 tanks is not one of them.

Which western democracy has the same rulers now than it had 20 years ago? Not USA, not Germany, not France, not any western country. Russia does however. What score does Russia have on any democracy indexes? 2. Russia did guarantee for Ukraine's security too, so that Ukraine would give up its nuclear arsenal that it inherited from USSR. Guess that didn't mean anything to Russia a few decades later. Ignoring deals is part of Russian foreign policy, guess why every eastern European country wants to be a NATO member. 3. Russia is attacking Ukraine, and annexing it, piece by piece. There is no denying that. NATO countries are supporting Ukraine as any country has the right to defend itself. 4. If Russia didn't want NATO close, then it shouldn't have attacked Ukraine. NATO will soon have borders a few kilometers from St. Petersburg. But NATO is a defensive agreement. NATO will not attack Russia, unless Russia attack NATO first. And I really hope Russia isn't stupid enough to do that.

  48.  @flowname  - how exactly does a small country defend itself from a big bullying and unstable state? It joins forces with others, as together they are strong. Alternatively they can get nukes. And as long as the military cooperation is defensive in nature, there is nothing to worry about.
