  4. NATO doesn't expand like Russia does. Countries willingly join NATO in hope to get protection from Russia. NATO doesn't need to do anything, when Russia pushes everyone they border with into NATO. The only country having an issue with this is Russia, because it can then no longer bully its neighbors around. If Russia had behaved nicely, none of this would have happened, an NATO would have been much smaller today.
