@Lindsey_Lockwood not necessarily. it’s a bartenders responsibility to not only not overserve, but analyze how drunk a person is when they order. regardless of what they’ve previously ordered in-house. if a person is obviously drunk, even if it’s their first drink served by you/your bar, you’re supposed to not severe them. nowadays people pregame. back in my day we bar-hopped. maybe don’t pre-judge what a judge will say when there are long established laws for instances like these. it’s too early yet to know the details and how it’ll all fold out.
