  4. I don't see why India is complaining about China involving other countries. Each of the 5 should be doing their utmost to bring more countries under their influence into the BRICS alliance. 5, set it up as the foundation members and onboard as many countries as possible. Indian is straddling both sides so probably won't have much influence in other countries and so won't be able to bring many new countries into the formation. This should not stop them. Go for expansion. India, your turn will come when you bring in the Quad countries, as they will need to join inevitably.
