  2. Re central banks owning Gold. Other than what Brett said, I do think it is a way to BUILD TRUST between BRICS countries. Better to have some backing of a tier1 asset than anything else on offer.

  3. I think what Brett clarified is EVEN BETTER! That the Euro$ market is debt/credit between countries outside TheUSA system but denoted in US$. Fantastic! Also re mBridge. It's in the test phase for implementation. Ironing out the last kinks in order to move forwards. So, if the Euro$ market is larger than the actual US$ market then the control and timing of transferring debt/credit over to new system lies with the non-West countries. In other words no recourse to the USA. The mBridge IMHO when fully implemented will allow cross country settlements in BRICS countries. BIS will pick up the xBorder trade settlements with Non BRICS countries AND for just this trade, countries could use $ or the new Unit currency. Like I said even Better!

  9. ANOTHER thing Brett said re Businesses and people with BRICS countries have to have $ is false. The local currency does not need to change at all. Then swap out the $ for the unit and its value based on say the gold unit price and off everything goes. I say gold unit because if it isn't the CBDC as mentioned by BIS then gold unit would have to have a common "value" between the two blocs to transact trade (wherever they touch they will need to be a unit value to reckon with).
