  24. Practicality is that the $ is supported by oil. The fact it is based on someone else's asset as the basis means the USA CAN'T leave the MidEast and Oil without losing the power over the $. The $ and Oil are/is inextricably linked and has the biggest bang for the buck (pun intended😊). That's HOW the USA controls countries. HOW CAN THEY LEAVE? MUST BE MADE TO LEAVE! I've also read that the West agreed with Africans to help mine their resources in return for them to make finished goods then promptly didn't pay much for the resource, closed all avenues to even sell a finished good and of course indebted them so they never got off the ground. American and western countries in cohoots with their corporations proceeded to loot them. Have you seen how Africans are used to mine the ores. It's like a scene out of Ben Hur in biblical times. Most recent example to end this without a coup was when the chocolate bean growers in West Africa told the Swiss government that they would process their own beans before shipping Cocoa.
