There is a cure, but they have to be willing to apply it to themselves. That's the only way. They have to humble themselves. That's the cure, which I understand is hard, but narcissism is a taught mindset and a string of coping mechanisms for that fearful mindset, so it's possible to teach yourself another mindset. One that looks at fears and faces them rather than look for ways to avoid them.
