Its pretty clear the government has no clue as to what is going on. They likely just don't want people to panic. The same stuff with drones and orbs is happening worldwide, and no one understands it. I believe the answer is in the bible. Jesus said we would see signs in the stars close to the time before Gods kingdom comes. He also said the world would have no clue about it or not know a way out. This all seems to line up with exactly what is happening right now.
