  1. I really think you're overthinking this, and unnecessarily complicating it as a result. I get what you mean and it makes sense, but they're not talking about the literal definition of it when they say that, so you aren't addressing the same thing. They're basically just talking about small acts of kindness that makes them feel more feminine. Like a man helping to carry something heavy. Also, their statement of chivalry being dead is broad, but it's really just about their own experiences.
