So true. I'm happy for you. This is what leads to being romantically fulfilled. Orion has made himself a part of that societal pressure that you're talking about that your wife had to ignore to maintain her healthy mindset and self-respect and to find a good man.

This is a beautiful appeal to him, but I don't believe he is looking for balance at all. In this video, he said that women should give up sex, whether she knows the man is truly interested or not. She should just take a chance and give it up. So he actually already considered the risk of being used for sex and he doesn't care. Then he literally said that women just need to make themselves useful to men. So his whole message basically amounts too, "Just let me use you for sex". He just masked it in a complicated sounding way so that it's harder to detect how awful and horrible and unhealthy the message is.

A man with no integrity will date a woman for a long time and not marry her, but then marry the very next one really fast because he wasn't truly interested in the first one. He was just going through the motions because he didn't want to be alone. He married the next one because he was truly interested in her. Now in your case, with the one who was willing to cheat on his girlfriend, he probably just wanted to be with another woman before he got married, but then decided it was a bad idea. OR, he actually was truly interested in you, but he didn't have the courage to leave and break his girlfriend's heart. We'll never truly know, but if he didn't consistently go for you, by his actions, you should assume he had no real interest and move on.

Bad way to go. He basically just said for women to be useful to men right after saying just give up sex without even knowing if the man is truly interested. In other words, "Just let me use you for sex". Do not subject your daughters to such a self-disrespecting message.

Well, it has to sound complicated in order to hide the basic message here. When simplified, he is basically saying, "Please let me use you for sex". He literally said that women must make themselves useful. It's basically a desperate plea for women to have sex with him.

@fourfurrypotatoes I'm sorry that happened and you had to go through that. Although, the good news is that you didn't get stuck with someone disingenuous who likely would not have treated you correctly in the long run because he wouldn't have been happy with himself.
