From a broad perspective, things are very similar. You tend to notice different and smaller details as you get closer. Also, when you mentioned how masters tend to speak vaguely and in generalities. Thats the mark of a fraud. Someone that does that is only pretending to be a master and is using vagueness and generalities to fool people into believing that they know what they are talking about. Its ok to not know, but its not ok to pretend to know. Your solution to this to learn more is good, but its impossible to learn more if we can't admit to not knowing something in the first place.
