  1. It's so true that they try and change the way you feel in order to forget things and move on. This isn't just a woman's problem, though. This is a human issue. Some men do the same thing. People don't apologize for these reasons: 1. They are either too prideful and don't like to admit they were wrong. 2. They think it shows strength. (It actually shows weakness). 3. They view being wrong to mean something bad about themselves. They might think it means they are stupid, or they might think it makes them an awful person. They are afraid of these feelings that aren't even rooted in truth in the first place. It's a fear they've developed or learned, so they operate from this place of fear and find ways to distract themselves and others from the fact that they owe an apology. All in an effort to not feel something that isn't even true. Also, good on you for sticking to your integrity and not sleeping with that woman when you knew you didn't like her.
