You did something awesome for him, and you know it. That's what matters. He probably blocked you because he has some issues or misinterpreted things. Anyway, that doesn't make him worthless. That makes him fearful. Similar to bullies, who are also bullying others because there is something depressing and fear inducing going on in their lives and they don't know how to properly handle it. Your actions of helping him feel better hold the utmost value, whether people realize it or not. That remains the truth.
