Not a good way to think about it. Thinking of yourself as two people gives you excuses to behave a certain way that you ordinarily would not approve of. This can create problems for ourselves. Also, a truly enlightened man would never be envious, as you say, even if he were dirt poor, NOR does he go out LOOKING for challenges or to make things hard on himself, because he is already content. He would also be happy for you and your success and even be willing to learn from you about how you achieved success. An enlightened man knows that if he doesn't work, he doesn't eat. In the bible, Jesus taught us NOT to be worldly because the world focuses on all the wrong things, but he also said to take care of our families and ourselves and work at things with all our heart as if we are working for God. Overall, you can make money without giving up principles or separating yourself from who you are.
