You're perceptive. I think that's exactly what it is. Olivia's remarks hit a certain truth within him that he has yet to face. Of course, he isn't going to say that, because he clearly isn't ready to talk about it.

@AEH-df7ho Part of the definition of incel is being angry with women, and men who are confident with women. That anger comes from jealousy. Jealousy comes from blaming others, instead of looking inward and improving on oneself. In other words, true incels lack the humility to learn and improve, and they refuse to develop that humility. Jordan has an issue with humility as well, and perhaps he feels lonely. There is something in Olivia's words that touched on a truth about himself that he hadn't faced. That's what brought him to tears in that moment.

He clearly has some inner issues that he isn't dealing with. I honestly believe he was moved to tears, because Olivia's words touched on a truth that he has been struggling with, but wasn't ready to face. I hope that one day, he truly and honestly opens up about how he truly feels, and what is really going on with him, and that he eventually begins showing true vulnerability.

Thats because he isn't being honest, and he is trying to distract from that. Understandably so though, but telling the truth is the only thing thats healthy for us. Based on his convoluted answer, I think that Olivia touched on a certain truth about him with her statement. That truth being that he is lonely. He just wasn't ready to face that truth within himself. That would explain his sudden emotional reaction.
