@XMysticHerox RN got more votes than any other party. I think that would give them a reasonable basis for saying they should have the most seats.

When the party that got the most votes end up as the smallest of the three new blocks in the assembly - you can understand their cynicism.

Yes I noticed last night various left wingers were talking like RN had been utterly crushed, and I was like - "You know they got the most votes of any party and about 25 times as many seats as six years ago?"

@XMysticHerox "More seats than all other parties combined?" Where did I say that exactly? Prone to telling little porkies are we kiddo?

@MrMiddleWick As long as one side is insisting on lax vote security - we need to be agnostic on the question of who got the most votes.

@Vercixx That's a poor analogy - a better one would be if the team was in the 3rd division two years ago, and then just failed to win the Premiership this season: so now everyone is saying they've done terribly.

@XMysticHerox Thank you for admitting I never made the claim you snarkily attributed to me. Try to stop being a liar kiddo - it's a nasty habit, and as you've just discovered, makes you look very foolish when found out.

It's ludicrous to me that RN got the most votes of any party, and yet are going to be the smallest of the three blocks in the new assembly. Not as perverse as the UK's election results admittedly, but it's up there.

RN got more votes than any other party - is that what you meant?

"If they do well" Then they will literally make history as the first hard-left government ever to actually make things better.

@lorenzodepaoli "It's not as if the, ahem, "ultra-conservative" electorate is infinite" Not "infinite" no, but it has a way of growing (as we've seen) as the establishment parties keep screwing things up. Which they will continue doing because they won't admit their ideology isn't working.
