@TheMagicJIZZ "Successfully occupied" In what way were they "successful"? They failed in every single one of their stated objectives.

TBH most of our "refugees" are from countries that have no war, and are people who come through multiple safe countries. It's opportunistic, not desperate.

@GeoEstes "The stock market is at an all-time high" And so was Zimbabwe's after they went on a money printing spree. "the economy is booming" You really need to get out more and talk to some ordinary people. "we have the trust and respect of our allies" Shall we ask the Afghans how much they trust US promises of support? "investment in our industrial base is back" That was Trump's policy which the Dems fought tooth and nail to stop.

Can you name an occasion in the last 20 years where western intervention in an unstable region has made things better? Any at all?
10
@NomadA1 Do you have any idea how many people are fleeing California? There's a massive waiting list for moving trucks because so many people are desperate to get out.

@Awesomewithaz Same people who drew Europe's borders - and Europe doesn't have this problem. Would it have been better to say - "You lot just fight it out amongst yourselves"?
8
What happens now is that huge numbers of them come to Europe and North America - and create the same conditions as in Haiti: while we are ordered to celebrate how enriched we are.

@myg14570 Source - "trust me bro"

@memerick420 "US inflation is not even close to Zimbabwe" Which is why its stock market is not rising *as much*. Same cause - different intensity. This really isn't a difficult concept to grasp kid. . . . . . . .
3
@dadarkpass He didn't. Because he understand economics. He created the necessary incentives for investment in the US and the necessary disincentives to export jobs - and let the market do the job. As with everything - he was mocked and laughed at by liberals: and then proved 100% correct.
3
They're no more unpopular than they were a year ago - it's just that now people feel safer to say what they think.
2
@montybrown5410 No actually that was the justification for going in - the justification for staying for the next 20 years was to turn Afghanistan into a stable liberal democracy. Tell me that was a success.
2
@joecater894 It amazes me how many people are trying rather pathetically to convince themselves that "We didn't really lose".
2
@memerick420 1. Clearly not so poor you are capable of refuting it. Do you understand how inflation works? 2. Yes - you should do exactly that. Every batch of economic statistics for the last two years has been quietly revised downward after the headline. 3. You really think the rest of the world didn't notice that? You think they're just going by what CNN says like you? 4. Yes it was very unpatriotic of them. But as usual - Trump has been vindicated and his opponents re-write history.
2
Trump was a president who was allowed to keep classified documents - and is facing life in prison. Biden was a vice-president who was not allowed to keep classified documents - and faces no charges. That tells you everything you need to know about the state of the US justice system.
2
They're running a senile and massively unpopular candidate against a savvy populist: while almost everything is going wrong. Isn't it obvious? They're not planning to leave this up to the electorate. . . . . . . .
1
Oh please god no - the European elites will just use it as yet another excuse to open our borders. Again.
1
@OGrandomunknownperson Andrew Yang is one of very few Democrats who I don't think is a total scumbag. Which is why he'll never be allowed to be their candidate.
1
@aoceanman 1. U.S. Census data, California had a net loss of more than 75,000 people in 2023. 2. U-Haul announcing that California was their highest growth state for the 4th year running in Jan 2024. Now where's yours?
1
@aoceanman Well? I'm still waiting for your sources.
1
It's funny how these channels always name "climate change" as the issue here - and not the gigantic rise in the populations of some of the driest parts of the world.
1
Lol. We all thought Biden was a senile old creep - turns he was actually playing 4 dimensional chess.
1
I'm shocked, shocked that two gangs of religious bigots can't get along with each other.
1
"China is next, their main river (Yangtze river) is all dried up" How fortunate then that China's population is going to crash through the floor in the next 40 years.
1
@shamusshannan5854 America is just managing* to stave off a major recession while running deficits larger than it was running at the height of WW2. That's not healthy.
1
So I assume everyone will now be condemning Pakistan for responding these terrorist attacks? You know - like they condemn Israel for responding to terrorist attacks. . . . . .
1
"Hate Europe"? Because they told them to stop repressing free speech and wrecking themselves with immigration?
