Something I've always liked about Israel is that they're a nation of winners - they've repeatedly defeated vastly more powerful coalitions, they've made a desert bloom, they've built an advanced economy out of nothing, they hold their culture and their traditions dear without compromise, and they even kicked the western trend of negative birth-rates. They're just. . . . . . .winners.
