Is it really so difficult to follow the laws regarding strike action? It amazes me how often trade unions seem to get them wrong, it can't be that complicated.

@EJH989 She's the leader of a TRADE UNION. She really should know what the strike laws are. I hope she's not as casual about her members medical qualifications as she is about her own qualifications for her own job.

@EJH989 "chill, its not a big mistake" Perhaps you should tell Cullen that, since she, A. Seems to be incandescent about it. B. Decided to spend her union's money on fighting a legal case about it rather than simply re-balloting.

@EJH989 As I said - she chose to contest the case instead of re-balloting. You can't have it both ways. Either it was a minor error, or it was important enough to be worth a legal battle over it.

@EJH989 That's a pretty weak excuse. Does no one in the nursing union have access to a law-library? Or the internet? Or a single lawyer with relevant experience? I'm not expressing an opinion either way on the rightness or wrongness of the pay dispute - but this kind of thing just looks sloppy.

@EJH989 "Like she said the wording is confusing" She may have been confused, but no one else seems to have been once the rules were checked. Just admit it - the union cocked up.
