  3. People keep using the NET migration number to make the problem sound less dire than it is - losing one British person and gaining one Somali or Afghan is net loss for the country on many many levels: and so discounting all the fed-up Brits leaving is massaging the scale of the crisis.

  4. It's our government who approve 80% of applications where the French approve 25%. It's our government who spend ten times more on each immigrant than the French. It's our government who allow taxpayers money to be used to appeal negative asylum decisions. Blame the French all you like - but they're not the ones who made Britain the softest immigration destination on earth.
