For weeks the unions have been saying - "Make us an offer!" And the moment they are made a (good) offer, they won't even put it to their members. This is nakedly political at this point.

@johnkitching2248 Maybe because 9% is a far better offer than the vast majority of people in this country are getting? On top of salaries that are already above the average.

I have no sympathy for the unions whatever - but to be fair, there is always an unlimited budget for endless war, hotels for illegal immigrants and employing DIE activists. Which no doubt the unions are all in favour of.
