Exactly - in capitalism, we let badly run banks go bankrupt, not endlessly bail them out with public money.

@James_36 You're confusing guaranteeing savers deposits with bailing out bond holders.

@James_36 Creative destruction is the basis of capitalism - everything that was "too big to fail" in 2008, is now bigger. You always create a much worse problem down the road when you refuse to take your medicine now.

The world will continue to get relentlessly worse until the globalist elites are de-fanged. All they want is to tear down our society and re-fashion it to suit their own interests: which are directly opposed to ours.

@johnkitching2248 You seem to be struggling with the idea of there being more positions than "none" and "more".

@martynblackburn9632 The censorship laws that are being imposed at the national level are decided at events like the WEF. Why do you think the trans issue became law in almost every western country at the exact same time?

@johnkitching2248 1. "you say you don’t want regulation" Where exactly did I say that? 2. No, capitalism lends towards competition. Stich-ups between governments and corporations tend towards monopolies because the government can use it's power to help crush upstarts through excessive red-tape and lobbying.

@James_36 Of course I can't see a pure hypothetical alternative history, what a silly comment. I can see what's happened since then however - and I can see that the rot has gotten steadily worse and worse, and the average person gets poorer and more miserable decade after decade.

@James_36 And the skies would have fallen and seas would have boiled and the mountains crumbled to ash. All very dramatic - but I can't help noticing that the people who made these apocalyptic predictions, are the same people who directly benefited from the bailouts: and who spent vast sums bribing (sorry: "lobbying") the politicians who approved them.

@martynblackburn9632 Wow - what a devastating rebuttal. 🙄
