Yeah, I have an issue defining it as only that - the west was great because men thought wonderful new ideas and built wonderful new things, instead of just pillaging what others already had. I don't think we should be looking at Genghis Khan or Pablo Escobar as the models of what we want men to be.

@shawnstrittmatter4783 As a fan of the stoics, I like that definition you've got there. Nothing is better for kids than telling them that life is going to be hard and their goal is to meet it well.

If you want to see how far we've come just in the last few years - compare the number of rainbow logos and pride flags in the public space this June, with June of 2021/2022. There is massively less of it now.
