Imagine things being created by people who made them themselves rather than being hired by a vast corporation which collects other people's ideas and then battery farms them.

@captaincapitalism264 "when they BUY that material it's not like they're doing anything nefarious or dumb" Actually yeah it IS dumb - they've run star wars and the MCU into the ground despite paying vast sums for both of them when both were already past their prime. Bad business and bad art.

@captaincapitalism264 Actually you're wrong, the current model is quite new. Companies like Disney used to make their own material rather just buying up and farming other franchises. At least to a greater degree than today. Maybe learn a little history before trying to be condescending?
