  5. I never really thought of myself as part of a "white" identity, until "white" started being constantly used as a slur and an epithet by the entire media and political class. To the extent that saying "It's OK to be white" is classified as a hateful statement. Just existing with white skin is now considered offensive: and that makes me absolutely determined not to feel ashamed of it.
