Given the way the world has been going recently - I wouldn't be at all surprised if this time next year they were destroying real art treasures just because their creators dared to be of their own time rather than of 21st century woke grandstanding. Remember it took them about two weeks to go from smashing statues of Confederate generals to statues of Lincoln and the founding fathers during the "Peaceful protests" of 2020.
