  5. Executing gays is barbaric. However it is also becoming increasingly clear you cannot have a sustainable compromise with certain groups. Either the rest of society pushes them to the margins, or degeneracy escalates until it consumes everything.

  6. A trusting society can only exist with homogeneity. Preferably ethnic and religious homogeneity (Scandinavia): but at the very least you need a common language and some shared values (USA before 2000). Diversity makes for low-trust societies. And low-trust societies are always worse to live in than high-trust ones.
