  1. Exactly - I took a lot of abuse back in the day for warning about things far less bad than the reality turned out to be. "Back in the day" means 10 years ago, not some far off distant past.

  2. We as a society are going to have to decide which is more important to us - obedience to the alphabet aristocracy, or protecting our children from abuse. Sadly, I'm not at all confident we will make the right choice.
