I read an account of the Night Of The Long Knives once (1934 purging of Hitler's rivals within the Nazi leadership) and apparently there were SA commanders giving the Nazi salute and shouting "Heil Hitler", even as the firing squad was in taking aim at them. This girl strikes me like that. Even as her own side purges her for "impurity", she is still blindly devoted to it.
