- We were told immigration would make us richer. - We had more immigration in one year than in a thousand years combined. - We're now in recession. There's 5.6 million working age adults on benefits, and the country looks like a dustbin.

Certain "communities" have no concept of shame.

Interesting that they want total freedom for foreigners to move into Britain - but Brits themselves have to have their movement tightly restricted and controlled.

"We want to work with you guys" - Police addressing mob of armed Muslims in Stoke two days ago.
323
The British soldier stabbed by the religion of peace yesterday got dropped from the news coverage mighty quick didn't it?

The irony about that football joke you did - was if they had won the shoot-out, we would have heard about nothing but the players race for eternity, but because they lost, it's magically a forbidden topic. We all know the only reason Gareth Wokegate picked the three black guys to take the penalties was because they wanted to spend the next 100 years crowing that "it was black players who won the tournament for England".

I was a big fan of the old queen because I felt she represented the best of this country. This one looks like he's just going to be a mouthpiece for the woke globalists.

They always do the same thing if you can stand to watch - they select the least articulate person who calls in, (taking advantage of the fact that they are used to being radio and the caller is not) spew insults and straw-man arguments to try and throw off the caller's train of thought, cut them off the moment they start to make a solid point: then strut around proclaiming how much more intelligent they are these awful "gammon". Every. Single. Time.

O'Brien wrote a book about what is wrong with Britain - and put a huge picture of himself on the cover. And I doubt he's even self-aware enough to understand why that's funny.
78
@brianperry Thanks for admitting he is paid to be annoying, and not to inform the debate or enable a discussion.
74
It's hard to overstate just how finished this country now is.
62
Labour really, really don't like old people do they?
53
“Every record has been destroyed or falsified, every book rewritten, every picture has been repainted, every statue and street building has been renamed, every date has been altered. And the process is continuing day by day and minute by minute. History has stopped. Nothing exists except an endless present in which the Party is always right.” ― George Orwell, 1984

All I know about him is that the mainstream media and global elites hate him - so he must have something to recommend him.
36
Yup. None of this is an accident.
32
Remember when Britain used to. . . . . . work? I do. It wasn't long ago.
23
I had the same thought - everyone advertising their woke credentials in the hope of being deemed sufficiently pro-establishment to get picked up to be on some painfully un-funny BBC or Channel 4 panel show.
23
I think I actually hate the Tories more than Labour now - and I hate Labour a *lot*. At least labour never pretended to like this country.
19
Could be literally anyone who works for the BBC, Guardian, LBC, Channel 4 news, Sky. . . . . . .
15
They both want re place ment, woke and the great reset.
12
As soon as they get coy about describing the suspect - you know what that means.
10
No point - the police won't do anything.
10
It would be laughable if it wasn't for the fact that we all know they will agree to it sooner or later. I loathe our politicians more than I can say.
10
It's a well-trod path - something culturally interesting and organic, gets swamped by corporate sponsors and woke ideology: loses its soul and then dies on its arse. Music festivals spring to mind.
9
Wasn't Linehan an outspoken wokie for years? You reap what you sow.
9
1st rule of nonce club - "Don't tell your parents about this"
9
This is the big problem with the "leave" argument - and go where? Everywhere you might want to go is in the same deliberately engineered death spiral.
8
It's the re place ment plan that scares me.
8
Legal immigration is vastly higher than illegal - and getting bigger every single year.
7
Yup - this is an intifada on French soil.
7
@tayachting6345 The rot set in on May 1st 1997. Everything since has just been different flavours of the same poison.
5
The politicians are blaming us for the problems they created - that's what it boils down to.
4
All the right ever does is cry - but ask them to actually do anything to get their country back, and they just shrug and to back to crying.
4
Every year for at least a decade now has been like this - awful, but knowing the next year is going to be even worse.
3
It felt like the whole thing was designed to demoralize a nation.
3
It's like they're conducting a huge social experiment to see how far they can push us. To test how much will we tolerate before we snap.
3
So many lies: that multiculturalism has been a success, that Islam is peaceful, that the far-right is a threat, that the people who want to save the country are the same as those who want to destroy it, and the he and his chums are not directly responsible for this crisis.
3
Surprising the main character wasn't black really.
3
Yup. It's rare in history you can pin-point the start of a country's decline to the day - but Britain's was 1st May 1997.
2
A genuine "Fringe" festival these days be full of right wingers, evangelical Christians, gender critical feminists and white-pride advocates. The leftists establishment always has an amusing habit of claiming to be rebels while being sponsored by Star Bucks and Black Rock.
2
Usual story - it's fine to dump all over Britain, Christianity and the west: but heaven forbid anything might offend the precious, delicate feelings of Muslims.
2
In 2022: we lost the queen, got a globalist Indian as PM, and discovered from the census that UK is a fast dying culture. I've kind of decided to draw a line under the concept of "Britain" this year, and realized I just had to let go.
2
The police should be ashamed of themselves. But I guess if they were capable of feeling shame - we wouldn't be in this position.
2
So I assume he has now been arrested and charged with incitement to violence and inciting racial hatred? Oh wait, how silly of me. I forgot we have a two tier justice system. . . . . . .
2
I wish people would do this instead of endlessly bloviating about it.
2
Yet another diversity hire.
2
Simple, uncomplicated strength training is good for you on many levels - chasing a roid-induced, photo-shopped, influencer-generated ideal: is indeed toxic.
2
I think Labour feel that pensioners are selfishly hogging housing that is desperately needed for migrants. . . . . . . . .
2
At this point - I would be genuinely shocked if a politician from either party didn't stab us in the back multiple times every single day. This latest stunt is clearly a deliberate, calculated insult.
2
Diversity is so obviously a weakness at this point, I'm amazed anyone is still claiming otherwise.
