  5. The trouble is those of us who actually care about the direction of the country are a small minority - last election we had record low turnout, and a landslide victory for the "more of the same" party.

  6.  @SarahBaker-q9k  Look across the channel - there are new and radical right parties that are changing the agenda all over Europe. No reason we couldn't do that here. Except that some people would rather not bother trying.

  8. The problem is most Brits don't want to fight - they want to vote for more of the same, watch their brain-rotting TV shows, and pretend everything is fine. This isn't like the Spanish Armada where we had a unified society. You can't fight when your own government are against you, and the masses are like dead-eyed cattle mooing for more.

  12. This is why talk of "net" migration is understating how dire the situation is - we're losing the best of our own people, and seeing them replaced with 3rd world cultures.

  14. Most of us are trapped. Leaving is really only practical if you are young, don't have any dependents, and have easily transportable and in-demand jobs skills.
