Dating for women is fun - they get free drinks and free dinners, they get to reject 90% of the men who buy them those things, and have casual sex with the tallest and best looking 10%. Dating for men is time consuming, confidence-crushing, expensive, usually unproductive and generally miserable. That pattern has been getting steadily worse and worse for years: and it's starting to push a lot of guys to a point where they just don't want to do it anymore. Especially when pornography is free, limitless and won't "MeToo" you the next day.
