  2. The last one I watched was Spectre, and I could see the writing was on the wall. The sinister clammy tendrils of woke were starting to coil around the franchise, and I knew it was only going to get worse.

And I decided when that day came, I would just draw a line under it, and appreciate it for what it was back when it was good. The books and the classic novels, and ignore what came after. It appears that day has come.
