  1. You can't say it's been like this for hundreds of years - there has been a very clear and very large decline since the millennium. Although the rot probably started setting in earlier in the 20th century.

I expect betrayal from all politicians - but an encouraging sign is that more and more people seem to becoming aware of the scale of the treachery our elites have perpetrated on us, and how utterly hollow and false the ideologies that have been foisted on us in the last 50 years are. The solution is always with us: and the leadership is just upstream from us.
