  1. Class is a big part of it - the women and girls hurt by immigrants are usually working class, whereas the women who heard Gregg's jokes were middle/upper class.

  3. Mine too - and I've given up trying to explain reality to her, it only leads to endless friction. I'm afraid some problems will only be solved as the generation that worships the TV as the source of all truth - gradually vanishes.
