  2. That was also in the days when if you jumped over the counter and started helping yourself - the police wouldn't even think of prosecuting the store owner for putting a bullet in you.

  4. You're right. But thing is if they did that - five minutes later there'd be a BLM mob sacking every Wallmart in the country, the entire media calling them racist, and the ACLU bringing a "Civil Rights" lawsuit.

  5. The problem with that mentality is you end up with whole neighbourhoods where there are no jobs because no one wants to locate a business in them. Not arguing about the "they'd let you die for another dollar" point - but don't kid yourself about what happens if this continues.

  6. Internal theft has been a problem for every business since the dawn of time - that doesn't explain the new phenomenon of people brazenly walking in, filling their boots and just walking out.
