  2. Thing is - in certain places, this IS normal. Though I've no doubt Piker lives in a very nice house in a very nice house with private security and total insulation from the consequences of what he advocates.

  4. Piker thinks it's "funny" to suggest teenagers to get a job. For nearly all of history it would have been considered very odd for teenagers not to have some kind of job. Not that he or his audience knows any history.

  5. It's amazing how people like Piker can sense that this looks bad - but instead of thinking something needs to be done to stop it, instead his only concern is the political optics. But then - this is the guy who eulogizes the the 9/11 hijackers.
